America is faced with many people who are homeless and who need the assistance from churches, because sometimes the government has ignored them or they have gotten lost in the shuffle.

We are blessed that our congregation can help numb the pain of homelessness for some of these beneficiaries. Before lunch is served a sermon is given by one of the Ministers on staff and they are given the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour for their sins.

If you are interested in helping in this ministry, please contact Juanita Walton at First Baptist Congregational Church at (312) 243-8047. We have also provided some links to pictures taken in December,2002 and links to other Homeless and Needy websites.
